About Script Revolution

Hi, my name’s CJ Walley. I’m a credited, working writer-producer with an Amazon #4, Netflix #1, and Hulu #1 to my name who created this platform as an alternative to script competitions, evaluation, and pitching services. Here you can build a portfolio while investing in yourself as an artist while Industry members are welcome to search the database, create reading lists, follow writers, and reach out to them via private message.

Having launched in 2016, Script Revolution is built and run entirely by myself while funded by people becoming Rockstar Members or buying a copy of Turn & Burn: The Scriptwriter’s Guide to Writing Better Screenplays Faster. This keeps the platform independent and able to focus on delivering results rather than maximising profit.

You'll find things are done differently around here. Writers are encouraged to study craft, build detailed listings to help pitch scripts, and demonstrate value by gaining favourites. If there's one thing my experience in filmmaking has taught me it's that producers aren't waiting for gatekeepers to tell them what kind of scripts they should be making. They know what they want to make, mainly due to the resources they have, and thus Script Revolution relies heavily on detailed meta-data that allows industry members to search out content specific to their needs.
