Tony, I couldn't find much that's public domain, as in free to watch on YouTube. Most of the clips that are available are mostly comedic moments. So, not a fair comparison, but here are a couple of links:
Some call the technique talking to camera, some call it breaking the 4th wall.
Probably the most famous example of a character talking to the audience for a lot longer than a few seconds is Hamlet, To Be or Not To Be. A monologue by definition, but at least it's drama and not comedy.
Have you noticed the words, "will work for food", are gone from the pan-handler's signs, now-a-days? I wonder why? Hello, you bunch of social misfits. Did ya miss me?
I've been busier than a cat on a hot tin roof. As many of you know, I have opened up Fireside Productions,LLC. My 1st work is "Cycle of Life", written by me when my mother died. All comments or suggestions are welcomed. HAVE MERCY. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ht6PsUlFqlKKkIkKJ2FeVvPGln2xnIPj/view
My two major problems in producing are time management and organization.
That one works, Tony. And wow! I never would have guessed, but adding that extra camera shot makes all the difference in the world. I'm really impressed. This is a beautiful piece of art. Good job!
Via Backstage, there was a request for a screen play about 20 pages long. $150. Here are the details. I busy now with the new production company. I just thought it an opportunity for someone.
"CAFFRA Productions
Angelo Murphycotto and Victoria Ferguson, coords.
Production Description
Seeking to buy and produce an unknown screenplay for a short film. Screenplay must be previously unpublished, all experience level writers are welcomed. Screenplay must be 15-20 pages in length. Entries cannot not be licensable or able for purchase, or use by any other outside entities. Looking for unknown and original works only."
Closed my LinkedIn account. Can't believe that was like, my favorite social media site for a couple of months. Eesh again
Meh, I gave up on that site a while ago. It's not so much social media, more like spam media. At least for me, with a free account. I keep it open in case I ever change my mind. For now, I can't be bothered.
The spam wouldn't be so bad if I could keep the news-feed to just connections' posts. Instead, it's also everyone's "likes" and comments on every random thing and person under the sun (I'm sure others don't want to see mine either). Maybe that increases engagement for LinkedIn short term... till some people get so sick of it that they just up and totally quit cause the service becomes near unusable anyway.
Also the constant propaganda from LinkedIn corporate... but since I don't have to see that again I'm just gonna mellow out and forget it from this point forward. lol
Lily, can you give me some examples of clips already made?

Great job, Anthony. Congrats! Your determination is an inspiration.
Tough to set a date for a new meetup as Shane and I are so swamped with film stuff right now. Hopefully coming up for air soon.
Picked up (with gloves) a dead rabbit in the yard laid out by garbage cans. Didn't look attacked, just keeled over for some reason.
Hope it's not foreshadowing. eesh
