Andrea Nettleton is a Canadian screenwriter. After studying screenwriting and independent film making at George Brown College, Andrea wrote, produced and directed two short films which screened in Toronto and LA. She has been optioned six times for both feature scripts and original TV, and her screenplays have placed highly in several competitions.

Andrea co-wrote the low-budget, indie feature "Sadie and Marie Write a Movie", which was shot in Vancouver in 2022 and will soon be released on streaming platforms. 

In addition to working on her own writing, Andrea manages a small, Toronto-based screenwriting collective, which acts as a support group for local screenwriters looking for peer feedback. Passionate about women heroes and personal connections, Andrea’s stories often focus on character relationships with an emphasis on female-driven content.
