I was born and raised in Chicago, and I was drawn to storytelling and performance at a young age. Before I was even six, I insisted that my parents enter me in our church talent competition, in which I tried to perform a one-kid recreation of my favorite scene from The Three Stooges.

Whether they were laughing with me or laughing at me, I fell in love with the audience response, and I knew I had found my home. I studied acting at a performing arts high school, booked a few commercials, and wrote some plays before attending the conservatory at DePaul University and eventually graduating from Columbia College with a degree in television writing.

I moved to Los Angeles and continued writing while performing improv at the IO West and dabbling in stand up. I scored a few network production assistant gigs before landing in the unscripted world, where I found success, bringing my humor, unique point of view, and storytelling skills to my role as a producer on shows like Little People Big World and Tiny House Hunters.

Fresh off a few writing classes at UCLA Extension, I've decided to pivot my career back toward scripted comedy...though I'm also open to church talent competitions.

As a writer, I challenge myself to put something that no one has ever seen before on every page, while telling stories that are deeply personal and, hopefully, very funny.
