Carrie Gibson and Anthony Curry have written and performed plays based on people’s true stories as a way to generate active empathy. They have performed their plays for major corporations and government agencies including NASA, the FBI and the Pentagon. They have been faithful writing partners for over twenty-five years. Their six screenplays (3 dramas, 2 comedies, 1 dramedy) have all been inspired by true stories.
Carrie’s credits as an actor include Bones, Scream Queens, Superstore, Jane the Virgin, This is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, Hollywood, American Crime Story, a recurring role on The Politician and King Richard. She is the author of "Crossing the Bridge: The Missing Link in the Dialogue About Difference"
Anthony Curry is an award-winning actor, director and playwright. Divine Hysteria: Armageddon Outta Here, the first of his Hysteria Trilogy, was produced Off-Broadway in New York. He was the recipient of the Artist Trust Fellowship for Playwrights and a Playwright-in-Residence at the Portobello Theater company in New York City. Curry now teaches for Seattle’s Village Theater and acts as playwrighting mentor in their youth curriculum’s new works program.
