Cheryl Laughlin is an award-winning screenwriter, multi-genre copywriter, and memoir/nonfiction ghostwriter based in Northern California. She's wired for words, tenacious, and collaborative—there's a superpower in there somewhere!

She writes a column for Script Magazine, and her scripts have won at the Sacramento International Film Fest, Finalist in National Lampoon Search for Comedy Writing Gold, and Semi-Finalist in the Gidden Media RomCom Incubator Program.

Her short "We Didn't Start the Fire" laureled up as a selection on Scriptwriters & Co Table Read, while another short "The Ides of March" was selected for a table read on Six Page Scripts Podcast.

Her memoir—Confessions of a Kindergarten Klepto—placed Top 25 Roadmap Authors Write Start. And it's possible she ran through the house with her Top 10% in the Nicholl Fellowship announcement like Anne Hathaway with her Oscar.
