A child of the 60s, I grew up in the Midwest but was more inquisitive than my classmates.  This led me to doing a year abroad program during my college years.  Always investigating, I became a journalist who appreciates travel and the arts.  I value European culture and the American Constitution.  To that end, I researched my namesake, Polish Countess Krystyna Skarbek, the most decorated woman of WWII, in 1990 before all her wartime associates died.  Bringing my four chronically ill children to Europe as teens and preteens so they could discover the wonderfulness of other peoples, I invested in their musical and artistic education.

Currently, I am living in Poland to corral support for my screenplay based on Krystyna's life and to promote the novels and screenplays of Dominik W. Rettinger, one of Poland's leading scriptwriters.

please contact me at if you would like to read any of my scripts.  thank you.  dzieki. merci mille fois.  mille grazie.
