Born 12 January 1961 in Urbana, Illinois, but grew up in the central Wisconsin college town of Stevens Point, and have lived now for 30 years in the "Athens of the Midwest", Madison, Wisconsin. Graduated High School 1979. Married 33 years to my wife Judy. No kids of our own together, but I have 2 stepdaughters, 6 step-grandkids, and 2 step-great-grandkids. Retired in 2016 after 32 years working at my state's Department of Transportation, and shortly thereafter set out to make the dream I've had since I was 6 into a reality: to write for movies and TV. It's been a wild ride so far, and I'm constantly finding out despite my many years of interest in it just how little I really know about this crazy business. But I'm in for the long haul! Right now my main project is a Southern Gothic Serial Drama TV series. The script for the pilot episode has placed in the semi-finals of one contest, and the finals of another, and I'm hoping to find a producer out there somewhere who sees in it the same potential I do.
