As a child, it’s hard to imagine whom will grow up to be. I always aspire to be very creative, which sparked once I began using my imagination to tell stories. At 7 years-old, most of my inspiration came from anime shows, like Dragon Ball Z. Animation became a medium that I could explore to demonstrate my ideas. At age 14, after implementing time in the subject, I realized that doing animation wasn’t the route to go. I decided to dive into the world of comics, like Marvel and DC, and grew to love the idea of becoming a graphic novelist. I officially identify myself as an artist, and decide to expand my artistic skills to more than just drawing my story. Exploring other options like film, screenwriting, and music videos… I decided to pay more attention to how films were made. It was around the age of 16 that I got introduced to David Fincher and his film “Fight Club”. I’ve enjoyed movies before, but this film really made me admire the work and effort that goes into making a motion picture. Through time, I grew to respect directors like David Fincher, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Zack Snyder, and Edgar Wright. Now I identify as a Filmmaker and have explore many aspects of film like; screenwriting, storyboarding, directing, acting, and editing. In that specific order. My story-telling focuses on mixing aspects of horror, dark comedy, and psychological thrillers. As an ambitious man I know that I’ll reach my goal to become a great filmmaker and I know you all will reach your goals as well.
