David began making short films on Super8 mm in the early 1980s.

As one half of The Cousin Company, he directed and, with his production partner, co-wrote their debut feature THE LEGEND OF VIPER'S HILL (2006).

Since then, David has written for Ottawa's Duke of Doom, Brett Kelly. The first being the Sci-Fi Actioner IRON SOLDIER (2010) starring B-movie icon Joe Estevez. David has since written/co-written ATTACK OF THE JURASSIC SHARK (2012), HOMICYCLE (2014), THE LAST OUTLAW (2014), RAIDERS OF THE LOST SHARK (2015) & OUIJA SHARK (2020).

David is also a self-published author with CROSS THE LINE Book 1: “Green-Eyed Burn” and CROSS THE LINE Book 2: “Blood Road” available in print and as eBooks everywhere.
