I'm a first time writer - and loving it.
Just finished my first feature script - which received the following comments from a reader (screenplayreaders.com)
… A strong opening that leads smoothly into a well structured, entertaining story…
Probably the most powerful sequence is the climax of Act Three. A perfect structure that builds to climactic scenes… Aronofsky-esque, vivid and cinematic, and beautifully realized. Great imagery. Totally convincing.
Final visionary grace notes are chilling… Scorsese-black vision of Hell .. Great stuff.
And, the coup de grace is a magnificent finale that recalled the epic and elemental imagery of John Boorman.
I'm working on the next draft (so it wasn't perfect!) and am thinking about producing it myself.
