Born in 1976, Aberdeen Scotland, Gair Mcdonald is an ambitious writer. An enthusiastic and passionate screenwriter who has written several screenplays to date and whose ambition is for someone in the industry to take an interest in his work for possible development. He has a love of ‘film’ and cites Orson Welles, David Lean, Alfred Hitchcock, Wes Craven, Steven Spielberg, JJ Abrams and Christopher Nolan to name but a few as the people he most admires. His achievements to date worth noting are: - British Short Screenplay Later Round 2004. - The Next Generation Independent Film Festival 2017 - WINNER "Best Creature Feature" – The Gurel. - Honourable mention Nicholls Screenwriting Competition 2018, close to a Quarter Finals placing with his drama ‘The Legend of Corporal Pike’. He is also credited as an Associate Producer on the acclaimed short film THE DANCER & THE BOY (2014).
