Born in Newark New Jersey, Genevi discovered his love for storytelling at the age of 10. By the time he was thirteen, he was hand drawing comics, and writing short stories, showing them off in school. After graduating High School, Genevi enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. There he independently published his first book Zheroes. It was also while there he began writing screenplays.

Today he attends Tribeca Flashpoint Academy in Chicago IL, pursuing a degree in Film Production. His Sci-fi screenplay based off his 3rd novella, "Revolt 2145" has placed quarterfinals in the 2018 Screencraft Sci-fi/Fantasy Screenwriting Contest and Semi-Finals in the Stage 32 Sci-fi/Thriller Screenwriting Competition.
