I started scriptwriting at film school in 1983, at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design. My short script 'The Landlord's Ear' (1983) was turned into an award-winning film for the FujiFilm Scholarship. Most of my career has been in editing documentaries for BBC, RTE, UTV, and various independent production companies. In 1998 I wrote and produced the short comedy/horror The Engagement (1999). Over the years, I have written ten features, produced two [Fiddler’s Walk (2006), Monty’s Quest (2022)], and turned two into novels, [The Fall (2008) and Hidden (2010)]. My last script was Four Strings and a Bow (2017). Over the previous 18 months, I have produced 130 podcasts. Work has often taken me away from scriptwriting, but I write every day and am moving back into the scriptwriting arena. My interests are in science-fiction, horror, drama and comedy. I have a MA in Media Studies, ME in Education, have studied for the Diaconate and am currently studying Counseling. Everything is about storytelling.
