Director/Cinematographer/Writer

George Panagopoulos was born in Athens in 1991. He studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. Since 2018 he has been working as a cinematographer and audio-visual content creator, collaborating mainly with theatrical organizations and festivals in Greece. Over the years, he has worked for institutions such as the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, the Greek National Opera, Stegi of the Onassis Foundation and Neos Kosmos Theatre. He has also worked for individual artists, directing or photographing short documentaries, music videos and various promotional content.

In 2021, he wrote, directed and photographed his first short film “Vidisova”, which premiered in Greece at the 27th Athens International Film Festival and was selected at the 24th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
