I worked in musical theatre, opera and corporate events.I was the Stage Manager on the original London West End transfer of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and set-up the first UK tour's of A CHORUS LINE and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.  I then became a producer and amongst other projects, created the world stage premiere of SCROOGE - THE MUSICAL.  A few years back, I decided to concentrate on writing.

2024 has been a great year - NEWLEY! reached the finals of The London International Screenwriting Competition, The Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards; The Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, The Screen Lab Screenplay Contest & The ScreenCraft True Life & Public Domain Competition & has been made an 'Official Selection' for the Las Vegas International Film and Screenwriting Festival. News just in - Newley! is an LVIFSF award-winner!

THE UNKNOWN won the 2024 Critics' Choice Award for Best Screenplay and the International Carnival Best Screenplay Award 2024 and reached the finals of The Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards, The Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, The Faith In Film International Film Festival & Screenwriting Competition, The Script Lab Screenplay Contest & The London International Scriptwriting Competition & has been made an 'Official Selection' for the Berlin International Film & Screenwriting Festival, The Filmique International Film Festival and the New York City International Screenwriting Awards.

And, HOPE FALLS reached the finals of The Script Lab Screenplay Contest, The PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, The Los Angeles International Screnplay Awards, Fresh Voices and was an Official Selection at Script Summit.
