Jake Lynch | Script Revolution

Based in Nantwich, Cheshire, I'm an Autistic guy who cannot get enough when it comes to writing. Whether it's reading about wondrous worlds, watching television shows with intricate, emotional and hilarious plots, or writing out a script of my own there's simply no end to my desire to learn and experience as much as I can about writing. I'm all about complex characters who we'll cheer on and cry for through their highs and terrible lows. I'm all about plotlines that challenge the medium as much as they challenge the characters going through them. I'm all about becoming invested in an ongoing series that I can make theories on and become incredibly attached to seeing the outcome of.

Getting a 2:1 in BA Film, Television & Radio Studies and a Merit MA in Screenwriting, both at Staffordshire University, were the first steps in my journey to reach my dream - being a Screenwriter. More specifically, a Screenwriter for Animation. There's just something incredible about a medium that makes the physically impossible suddenly become possible and a wonder to the eyes and mind. Whenever I get free time I'm always looking for new opportunities, forging bonds with wonderful people and writing out my scripts. Animation isn't all I can write, but my zany and off the wall style grand-scale ideas tend to make it the most practical option, as well as the most fun option too.

If you like animation then you've come to the right place! If you like time travel mayhem you'll love Edith & Ivy. If alien worlds, awesome weapons and epic adventures are your thing then Star Ducks is right for you. If you favour a slice of life adventure exploring idealism VS cynicism, look no further than Culture Shock. But if you'd rather not read animation and crave blood and thrills, no biggie, Soldier Smash is right there as well! Not to mention I have a short film all about Lost Socks, just saying~.

I'm always writing and will have more to add before too long as passed, whether it's hypnotism shenanigans, a vegetarian zombie princess or something wholly different. The sky isn't the limit, it's just the first barrier to push past!
