Keaton Bicknell was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 19, 1997.

Having been brought onto many film sets by his father, Stuart, a veteran electrician on many major motion pictures including G.I. Jane (starring Demi Moore) and Miami Vice (starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx), Keaton knew he wanted to pursue filmmaking from a very early age.

He made his directorial debut in 2015 with "The Adventures of Pelican Pete: A Bird Is Born," a short film based on the children's book series by Hugh & Frances Keiser. A collaboration between himself and animator Dani Bowman, it played at the San Diego International Comic-Con two years in a row. In addition, it's also won the Hometown Award at the World Arts Film Festival in Jacksonville, Florida, and has been nominated Best Animation at the Eyecatcher International Film Festival in McAlester, Oklahoma, and at the Rendezvous International Film Festival in Amelia Island, Florida. In addition, it was also chosen by the Autism Society of America to screen at the inaugural 1st Annual AutFest in Orange, California, which honors the work and talent of many autistic filmmakers.

He's also produced the 40-minute psychological horror short "The Wails," directed by Connor Dunwoodie, and has also written and directed a horror short titled "Special Delivery," which was commisioned for the Jacksonville Short Film Showcase in January 2017.
