Her writing blends observations on the human psyche with witty sociopolitical commentary to shed light on challenges to mental health. Kim’s female-driven screenplays have garnered placements in competitions like StoryPros, Page, Screenwriters Network, and Nashville Film Festival. Currently residing in Santa Cruz County, California, Kim takes solace from her writing demands at the University of California Santa Cruz Arboretum, where she volunteers in native plant conservation.
