A dark comedy screenwriter who has trained with Roadmap Writers, Kim is a dual citizen of the U.S. & Italy with an extensive background as a Spanish-speaking psychiatric social worker in Los Angeles. Her writing blends observations on the human psyche with witty sociopolitical commentary to shed light on challenges to mental health. Kim’s female-driven screenplays have garnered placements in competitions like StoryPros, Page, Screenwriters Network, and Nashville Film Festival. Currently residing in Santa Cruz County, California, Kim takes solace from her writing demands at the University of California Santa Cruz Arboretum, where she volunteers in native plant conservation.

I hold a Bachelor's in Romance Languages from the University of Oregon, a Master's in Spanish from the University of Oregon, and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
