Larry credits his early interest in writing to his dad, a wonderful wordsmith and storyteller who had an advertising company he aptly named Post 'n Tell. Larry went on to study and work in advertising himself. His love of movies led him to screenwriting, with a focus on family comedy and character-driven drama.

A battle with cancer (Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma) made Larry more determined than ever to inspire others with his own story -- and in the stories he tells.

Since 2020, Larry has had four original spec screenplays produced and released:  THE MAIN EVENT, a Netflix Original; HIGH HOLIDAY, a Peacock Original; FLIP TURN, an independently financed film on Amazon; and Sony's 5000 BLANKETS starring Anna Camp, winner of the 2023 MovieGuide Award as Most Inspirational Streaming Movie of the Year.

Larry does volunteer work for several organizations, including the Lymphoma Research Foundation. He also mentors aspiring writers and is a proud to have joined the acclaimed Reel Works program as a volunteer mentor in 2021. His mantra is "Become a better person; become a better writer."

A member of the WGA West, Larry was honored to have been named as one of the "Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch in 2020" by the Austin Film Festival, where he also serves as a panelist.
