Mike has had over 150 audio plays produced in the U.S. and overseas. He’s won a dozen Moondance International Film Festival Awards (winner, finalist, and semi-finalist) in their TV pilot, audio play, short screenplay, and short story categories.
In July 2020, his feature-length screenplay Die Laughing was named as a semi-finalist in the Creative Screenwriting 2020 Unique Voices Screenplay Competition.
His prose work has appeared in several magazines and anthologies.
In 2016, he won The Columbine Award for his TV pilot script The Bullying Squad. In 2015, Mike's script “The Candy Man” was produced as a short film under the title Dark Chocolate. His second short film, Hotline, was just completed.
In 2013, he won the inaugural Marion Thauer Brown Audio Drama Scriptwriting Competition with "The Return of Cosmo Draper." In 2020, his audio script "Danny MacIntyre Meets the Molecule" took second place.
He is currently working on a number of projects, including his second feature-length script, The Unicorn in the Closet.
He is actively seeking representation for his script and prose writing.

- “Sides” is a Parsec Awards finalist in the category Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Long Form).
- Won first prize in the Friends of Old-Time Radio script-writing competition with “King of the Beasts.” The play was produced live on stage at their 2011 convention.
