Natalie Ekberg

Hi, I am Natalie, currently a student at MA Screenwriting and Playwriting at City University London, UK. I have made the decision to follow my dream at a 'mature age', but it was the right decision for me! Every day I realise how much my life experience is an endless source of ideas; and how many characters I can build around people I have encountered through my life. I only started writing seriously 18 months ago but I had my one-act play long-listed for Kenneth Branagh Awards for New Dramatic Writing and multiple short plays performed in fringe theatres around London. My biggest success so far has been to be become a Finalist of the 'IMDb Script to Screen' competition with my short script 'Zoe'. I have recently finished my TV Pilot 'Hope' and am currently working on my feature script, a romantic comedy 'Happy birthday, Caroline'. My previous experience was in corporate world, as well as running my own business for the past ten years. I am excited to join 'Script Revolution', I have only heard wonderful comments about it!
