I am a young screenwriter/songwriter/playwright who loves to collaborate and learn! I strive to explore different forms of art and media while searching for ways to test the limits of genre. I am passionate about storytelling above all else.
Music is a huge part of who I am as an artist. I went to Shenandoah conservatory for my BFA in Musical Theatre, where I quickly learned that I needed to write the stories, rather than perform them. Many of my stories are about or include music as a theme or device, and it remains an essential part of my writing process.
Nature is another crucial inspiration for my work. I've always maintained that nature and animals will always be more interesting than humans. I've developed a macrophotography hobby that serves as a way to connect with all the tiny, yet complicated bugs and and plants that are so easily overlooked. I enjoy using biology and other sciences as themes or devices in my work because the structures are universal and infinate.
My other influences include, women, families, and the LGBTQIA community.
