Hi, I’m Rena Cecile, a screenwriter passionate about telling emotionally grounded, visually expressive stories that center identity, imagination, and self-discovery. I write characters who feel real and flawed, often navigating inner worlds, cultural pressures, and the desire to break free.

My current feature, Daydream, explores maladaptive daydreaming through a Gen Z lens. It’s a personal and bold project that blends raw emotion with surreal visual elements, and I’m excited about where it’s headed.
