I am a crime writer and have authored of 6 English books, primarily Crime, Horror and Combat . My novels include Hungry Gods (Rupa Publications ) , Garbage Beat ( Harper Collins India ) , Item Girl ( Rupa Publications) . My forthcoming books include A History of Violence (genre- combat, Om Books International) and Contamination (genre- horror, Om Books International) . Four of my books are being translated in Hindi language by Prabhat Publications. I am working on the screenplay of two of my books to be adapted into screen.    

Hungry Gods screen rights have been acquired by well-known Bollywood film-maker Sanjay Gupta of White Feather Productions who has made blockbuster Bollywood movies including Kaante, Shootout at Lokhandwala etc . The novel has also been acquired by AUDIBLE for audio-novel. 

I am also a TV journalist with NDTV ( New Delhi Television).
