I am a former deep-sea fisherman and a full-time writer. I have written six novels, seventeen screenplays, a stage play with song lyrics (based on my novel FOGGY JOE). Many of my screenplays have won awards including a “Strong Consider” rating from the West Coast Creative Artists Agency (CAA), for my Epic, True Story Screenplay, Metacom along with Seven Finalist Awards, and a Jury Award from the New York West Field Screenplay Competition.  I was also a 2017 Quarter Finalist for DEEP WATER BLUES (based on novel) in the Academy Nicholl’s Fellowship Program. Additionally, I was a 2019 Semi-Finalist in the Austin Film Festival for my screenplay WHISPERING WINDS.  

Recently, I have written an episodic series which was adapted from my two novels, BROKEN BRANCH & THE KEEPERS OF WINDMILL HILL. This series takes an unblinking look at darkness, both past and present, sharing a terrifying tale of love, survival, obsession and redemption.
