A retired photographer/videographer turned screenwriter hobbyist, I draw from my own life experiences, the experiences of others known to me, and from history to create my works. I’m a Baby-Boomer, born in the fabulous fifties, grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota through the turbulent sixties, and came of age in the early seventies as a self-proclaimed "car-punk" cruising around town in souped-up muscle-cars with my buddies, drag racing on the street and living our own version of American Graffiti.

I enlisted in the Army as a helicopter mechanic/crew chief in the late seventies, and served in the Minnesota Army National guard with the 47th Aviation Battalion. In the early eighties I was placed on Inactive Ready Reserve and became a military contractor working with Nam vets, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, and acquiring skills in light weapons, explosives, and long range reconnaissance. But eventually I left that world behind, got married, raised two beautiful daughters, and now have four incredible grandsons.

I've always had a keen interest in Military History and use it in many of my storylines. I'm pretty old school in my approach, and when using actual historical events as part of the storyline I try my best to be accurate, detailed, and diligent in my research. I'm self taught as a screenwriter, other than some online training courses, and know I have a lot more to learn. I write in the following genres; military, drama, action, war, westerns, and comedy shorts. I have not won any contests, nor have I sold or optioned a screenplay, so I have no bragging rights. I’ve found most screenplay contests and hosting sites to be a waste of time and money, but I’m hoping for better success here on Script Revolution, at least in the form of helpful critique and encouragement or better yet, the sale or option of one of my screenplays.
