Starting his career as a production runner at the iconic Elstree Studios for Lucas Films, Sacha gained experience working for various departments on big budget productions 'Willow' and 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'.
From there, Sacha moved into camera-work, becoming a freelance camera operator working at the BBC, ITV and MTV.
Eventually segueing into directing, he has called the shots on multiple commercials for a variety of well-known brands – Kellogg’s, MTV, Nickelodeon, 02, The Disney Channel, Kerrang, Q Magazine, Unibet, The Paramount brands – Kellogg’s, MTV, Nickelodeon, 02, The Disney Channel, Kerrang, Q Magazine, Unibet, The Paramount Comedy Channel and Thomas Cook Travel.
His short film 'CHiLL' was nominated for best film as part of the Virgin Media Shorts competition.
He’s directed the visuals for Rita Ora, Lewis Capaldi, One Direction, Roxy Music, Madness, Robbie Williams, Marina & The Diamonds, Queen & Paul Rodgers, Kylie Minogue, Duran Duran, Sting and the Foo Fighters shows amongst others.
Little Fellas : Done in Sixty Seconds, a short film remake of Scorsese’s extremely violent 'Good Fellas' directed by Sacha where he replaced all the key gangster characters with children was short-listed for the Jameson Empire Magazine Film Awards.
He has also directed multi-camera concerts for Pulp’s successful comeback tour of Europe as well as two tours for the French electronic music pioneer Jean Michel Jarre and most recently The Courteeners, Keane’s Tom Chaplin, Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, Pete Tong & The Heritage Orchestra, Kasabian, Madness & Queens of the Stone Age.
He's directed two highly successful European and American tours with Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Sold out tours of over 70 shows across the USA and Europe with multiple shows at Madison Square Gardens in New York and the London 02 Arena.
His short horror comedy concept trailer 'The Nasties' was a top ten winner in America's Crypt TV El Terror shorts competition.
Moving between the worlds of multi-camera live music and directing single camera commercials has kept Sacha busy but now he’s looking towards his next adventure… a feature length movie.
