Hey there!

Gosh, where do I begin? Welp, I've been writing stories since 2004. I penned a script for a teen youth group which was later performed at my church. The reviews were so good that we did a second running of the play a week later. From that point, I would continue to write over a span of 16 years, in which I basically worked on honing my craft. In 2009, I launched my production company and shortly after that I authored several books. I like to write about grief, loss, and hope. As a matter of fact, in 2013, my stage play, The Healing Floor won first place (audience award) in the drama category in the D.C. Black Theatre & Arts Festival's One-Act Battle Competition hosted by Petri Hawkins-Byrd. I was elated and star-struck! In 2019, I would revamp my production company to launch my multimedia company, Vonn Media Group with a vision to create and produce stories that help make the world a better place. 'The Third Day' is my first debut feature film and I have several other projects in development. Over the years, I've earned degrees in social work, law, and forensic investigations, but I find writing more fulfilling and therapeutic.
