Synopsis/Details

An alien ship lands on John Lewis’s farm. The aliens are known as the Kre. They need someone to make an important decision, and they have decided on John.

A deal is proposed where the aliens will eradicate Earth’s diseases in exchange for the moon. The decision, however, must be made by John.

John calls many people to his farm to get a variety of facts and opinions. He finally decides that Earth people everywhere should go through with the deal.

Elated, the alien leader offers to first cure John’s wife, Vicki, who suffers from diabetes. Unfortunately, the cure procedure doesn’t work when the Kre doctor learns that Vicki – and every human – lacks an organ very common among other alien races. Without this organ as part of the cure, the procedure is useless.
