Darwin hasn't left his home since his parents were murdered. His life is turned upside down when his psychologist is kidnapped. Darwin and his psych group must turn issues into skills to save their psychologist.

Darwin Barnes becomes agoraphobic after his parents were murdered and no arrests were made. He does things inside his home that everyone else does outside. He is a devoted golfer that uses a simulator program to golf. His psychologist agreed to run a psychology group at his home so Darwin would have human contact as he is even afraid of the local Girl Scouts who sell cookies. One day, he texts his psychologist and gets a response from a kidnapper demanding he leave his home though the kidnapper knows Darwin is agoraphobic. This puts Darwin into a tailspin as Dr. Jane has been his main support since his parents' deaths. In the past, Darwin has tried everything to leave his house, even throwing his beloved baby blanket outside the front door, which he could not retrieve. Darwin does the only thing he knows will guarantee he will leave the house--he sets it on fire and runs out into the night. By a stroke of luck, he walks into a diner where the newest group member, Laura, works. This begins the unfolding of how each group member contributes to finding and saving Dr. Jane. Laura (a divorcee) helps Darwin throughout the escapades to deal with being outside. Betty (a kleptomaniac), Wendell (a compulsive gambler), Martin (a conspiracy theorist), and Bob (a depressed widower) each step in providing laughs and twists and turns towards a surprise ending that explains what happened so long ago.

The Writer: Gregg Fidelibus

Semi shut-in coerced into writing by my psychologist. It gives me extreme anxiety but I enjoy the laughter of my only fan, my psychologist, My only talent is my insanity. So, I write ridiculous screenplays about what I know. My training is watching tv 20 hours a day and self-study. I'm looking for the right reader who enjoys my screenplays as much as my psychologist.
