High school graduate Jayden Kirk attends an interview at a prestigious advertising firm under the direction of Mitchell "Mitch" Graystorm, CEO where he quickly meets another candidate Azalea Drummond, a mysterious woman with a bizarre fetish for trench-coats. A nervous but sweaty Jayden soon lands the job but finds his first day full of unusual surprises with all the computers at the office mysteriously malfunctioning. Jayden soon receives a gift from Azalea, that turns out to be a talisman. Before he can find out any more about it, the aquarium in the lobby explodes, landing receptionist Dora in the hospital and Jayden and his girlfriend Leah seeking answers. They eventually get help from Cheyenne, the firm's chief graphic designer and Wiccan who tells Jayden the item is cursed, however, is unsure why Azalea would give it to him. Meanwhile, Azalea, hoping for another shot at
getting a job, makes a visit to Mitch's house in an attempt to win him over, which ultimately fails and she leaves Mitch with a threat on Jayden and his staff's life. After an attempt to destroy the talisman fails, Jayden and Leah seek help from Cheyenne who informs them that Jayden must either kill Azalea or undergo a "cleanse" along with the office staff to free himself of anything he considers "evil" before trying to burn the talisman again. Jayden quickly decides on the cleanse and the office staff go along with it, leaving Mitch in the dark to avoid confrontation. Rich, the firms chief editor sends Jayden out on a coffee run where he runs into Azalea. She hints at her troubled past with him before leaving with her necklace and a threat. Jayden, realizing what the initials on the necklace mean, races back to the office just in time as a fire breaks out in the conference room. Rich saves the day only for Mitch to find out Azalea has abducted his daughter from his wife. Rich and Cheyenne race to Tanya's house while Leah, Jayden, and Mitch make haste to Azalea's. Jayden, remembering Azalea's threat, saves himself, his girlfriend, and boss from an explosion that would've cost them their lives and race to Azalea's house just as Azalea kills two investigating police officers. Leah leads Mitch's daughter to safety, as Azalea reveals who she truly is, attacks Mitch, and tries to kill Jayden. However, Mitch gets the upper hand and kills Azalea with a knife to the heart. Weeks later, the office staff celebrate their victory over a party, knowing that the worst is now over.
