Synopsis/Details:

"BAD CONNECTION" is a tense, edge-of-your-seat horror, filled with suspense, thrilling set pieces and gripping twists.

NINA (20s) is a downtrodden waitress who shies away from confrontation - the kind of person who would rather run from her problems and accept the bad hand that life deals her, rather than standing up and fighting for what she deserves.

She struggles through a difficult shift at work, and just when things look like they can't get worse, she breaks her cell phone. Against her wishes, her boyfriend MARK (20s) buys a stolen phone, unaware that its previous owner is TRENCHCOAT, a psychopathic serial killer who is tracking down his property and killing those involved in its theft.

Meanwhile, Nina confides in her workmate EVA (20s) that she may be pregnant, but hasn't yet found the bravery to take a pregnancy test. After strong encouragement from her friend, Nina finally takes the test, but before she can build up enough courage to check the results, Mark interrupts and presents her with her new phone.

Nina and Mark quickly discover creepy photos and videos on the phone of a girl being tortured and killed. They call the police, but also realise the phone contains an advanced tracker app that can't be deleted. There's a knock on their door. Thinking it's the police, Mark opens it and is murdered by Trenchcoat.

Nina escapes with the phone, but is pursued by the killer. This leads to a terrifying cat and mouse chase through her run-down apartment building as Trenchcoat mercilessly hunts Nina through the building's hallways, staircase, elevator shaft and roof, killing everyone unfortunate enough to get in his way, including Eva and her boyfriend OSCAR (20s).

Whilst hiding from her pursuer, Nina remembers the pregnancy tester in her pocket and upon checking it, learns she is pregnant. Determined to protect the life growing inside her, Nina discovers an inner strength, stops running and fights back, leading to a twist-filled climactic battle with the killer.

Grounded in reality, and with limited locations and cast, "BAD CONNECTION" is an adrenaline fuelled low budget tale of terror, survival, courage and self discovery.
