WENDY BERMAN (30s), barista, struggles to maintain her identity and juggle the universal challenges of family life. Short, mysterious illnesses plague her son, ELI VAUGHN (5). Her loving husband, SAGE VAUGHN (30s), an artist pursuing his fledgling career, is prone to nervous breakdowns.
