Cecilia was an attempt to do a straight Twilight Zone kinda thing. But, not Twilight Zone like "twist-ending" Twilight Zone, which is what everyone remembers. Twilight Zone was best when it had the twist, sure, but the episode was re-watchable even after you knew the twist, because there was deeper subtext and meaning. Cecilia is by no means some profound take on life in 12 pages, but, hopefully it has value even after knowing the end. The "twist", for lack of a better term, is an afterthought.
It is also a short that could shine with really creative lighting. The escalating light through the curtains could create a vision that would put the viewer inside Cecilia's head.
