SYNOPSIS:
Kara, a precocious child with a hidden life-altering reality, and her mother Emily, both settle into small-town life with ease, thanks in part to their new friend - an eccentric, well-dressed, one-eyed gentleman named Odin.
Odin recognizes Kara as the reincarnate of his adored Valkyrie, Kára. This is a complete surprise to Odin, even by his godly standards. And as her abilities surface, he shares his wisdom, helping her to crush her fears and transform into the warrior he knows her to be.
Kara’s father arrives in town late one night, ready to fight, and her mother cannot stop him at the door. Threats and aggression escalate to such a level that Kara’s fear unleashes a situation only Odin can control.
Odin takes Kara and her mother on a hiking trip that turns deadly when a slip of the foot puts her mother’s life in peril and forces Kara to use her newfound powers to save her mother.
Kara’s mother believes she’s made a deal with Kara’s father, to be out of their life for good, but when he stalks them looking for an opportunity to kidnap Kara, he comes face-to-face with his daughter on a more legendary level.
Odin embraces his new future and gifts to Kara the one thing he feels will help her heal from her past injustice.
