SYNOPSIS:
Kara, a precocious child with a hidden life-altering reality and her mother Emily, settle into small-town life with ease, thanks in part to their new friend. An eccentric, well-dressed, one-eyed gentleman named Odin.
Odin recognizes Kara as the reincarnate of his adored valkyrie, Kára. This is a complete surprise to Odin, even by godly standards and as her abilities surface, he begins to share his wisdom, helping her to crush her fears and transform into the warrior he knows her to be.
Mike, the alcoholic father, arrives late one night, ready to fight. Emily is unable to stop him at the door. Threats and aggression escalate to such a level that Kara's fear releases uncontrollable weather conditions that only Odin can control.
Odin takes Emily and Kara on a hiking trip to further solidify his relationship with the girls and to teach Kara how to control her inner valkyrie, but during the hike, a situation puts Emily’s life in peril and forces Kara to use her new-found powers to save her mother.
Emily thinks she’s made a deal with Mike to be out of their life for good, but when he stalks them for an opportunity to kidnap Kara, he comes face-to-face with his daughter on a more godly level.
Odin embraces his new future with Emily and gives Kara the one thing he feels will help her heal from her past; justice.
