A sexually frigid woman in her 30s overcomes her inhibitions, visits her maiden aunt to share the joyous news, and encounters bitterness and jealousy, leading to a poignant parting of the ways.
Synopsis/Details: 

Sandra, a woman in her 30s cursed by the sexual inhibitions that plagued her Aunt Lida and her departed mother, finally overcomes those inhibitions when she meets a man at an advertising agency Christmas party in Manhattan. She drives north on a wintry night to share the good news with her aunt, only to encounter bitterness and jealousy, which leads to a painful parting of the ways.
