Two lifelong friends, now in their late fifties, all have their fears realized when Mickey gets let go from his job, 3 days before he’s going to retire with full benefits. Frank worries about Mickey, due to the fact that Mickey is a Vietnam War Vet. They also realize how unfulfilling their life to-date has been, so they decide to take a road-trip. Mickey, however, has other plans. Frank plans on enjoying himself on a search-for-youth road-trip. Mickey has darker plans.
