Based on the Non-Fiction book, Fallen from Grace, is Ann's story of dealing with adversity and how others tried to silence and discredit her, however, she developed a plan to expose many hidden truths.

After Ann resigned from a highly competitive and toxic work environment, she pursued obtaining a graduate degree, but this was met with a lot of adversity. During this daunting time, her brother handed her a book titled, Gangs of America: The Rise of Corporate Power and the Disabling of Democracy. Ann learned how some organizations engage in very unethical practices and there is not much anyone can do about it. After contracting a rare and debilitating illness, Ann was unable to work or do anything for many months. Then, what felt like a miracle, Ann got better and returned to her job and felt the need to raise concerns. Soon, she realized she was only fighting fire with fire and many people tried to silence and discredit her. However, Ann developed a new plan to expose the corruption and encourage change.
