Logline:
A habitual liar teams up with an honest insurance investigator to help his unlucky brother fake an injury at a Las Vegas attraction.
Synopsis/Details:

Lies, love, and insurance fraud--

o MAX (32) quits his job at an insurance company and ends up in a con to defraud them for all the right reasons but he sucks at lying. Could his desire to do the right thing lead him to lose everything?

o PAIGE (30) is a children’s magician who talks her way into and out of every situation. As she helps plan the fraud, her complicated life begins to catch up to her. Is it possible her free-spirited lifestyle isn’t the happiness she’s seeking?

o WILL (25) is a hunky dork with a crush on his co-worker who was demoted due to an on-the-job injury at the neon sign boneyard. This time he’s been promised a payout but is the insurance money the reward he’s looking for?

The plan goes down in a symphony of bullshit and blubbering but as the end draws near Max, Will, and Paige question if their lies will get them what they honestly want.

This modern take in the vein of comedy classics like HouseSitter and How To Steal A Million is available to read here. That's a lie. It's only the first 25 pages. But you're ready for more? Yeah you are! Just email two.things.productions@gmail.com and request the treatment or full script. Honestly.

The Writer: Christiane Fogleboch

Screenwriter. Director. Milky tea maven and coffee zombie (but totally not a snob about it). If artybollocks wrote about me it would say: My work explores the relationship between cinematographic synesthesia and Dogme 95 minimalism with influences as diverse as John McTiernan, Jane Russell, and Kurosawa where new variations on natural filmmaking are synthesized from constructed and discovered discourse. The viewer is left with a hymn to the glass half full outposts of our condition. Fortunately, I can write blah-blah about myself. My genres are comedy and drama. Occasionally I leave those scripts alone in the dark with Barry White playing in the background and when I come back to my desk... Go to bio
