Synopsis/Details
Henry Dawson, a retired truck driver haunted by fragments of an accident he cannot fully remember, inherits a Victorian house from his sister Susan who died there on her first night. What Henry does not know is that the house belongs to Julien Jenkins, twenty-one years old, an immortal presence who survived the crash that killed his entire family and has been waiting in the house for him.
Henry refuses to leave and Julien refuses to let him stay, the violence escalates. Henry's neighbor Lester becomes an unlikely ally. Henry at his limits stops apologizing to a boy he cannot reason with and when Henry finally faces what he did at that intersection, there is nothing left to bargain with. Julien does not want justice. He does not want an apology — it is too late for that. He wants Henry to say it out loud, live with it, and leave the house.
