Olivers twist features a man trapped inside the worst day of his life. Oliver is a low-level street criminal, just trying to survive in his day to day world, where violence and death are an unfortunate fact of life. He's no saint, that's for sure. A man of his world and morally gray when he has to be but living by a code nonetheless. He is also a man with dreams and hopes and the capacity to love. All of which is snatched away from him when he learns that the woman he loves - his on again, off again girlfriend Pauline - has been brutally murdered.
As if this weren't horrible enough, Oliver awakens the next day to find that Pauline is once again alive - as if the previous day never happened. If fact, the previous day hasn't happened - it's happening all over again. With Olivers world turned upside down and filled with confusion and pain as everything repeats itself and even when he tries to change things Paulines fate remains grim.
