With his business on the ropes, gym-owner Steve turns to his motley group of staff for help. And when a mediation session turns sour, Steve discovers his wife has filed for divorce.

Perfect Bodies is inspired by the real-life characters and stories from Ivor Lloyd, who owned and ran a successful health and fitness club in West Yorkshire for over ten years.

The story revolves around Steve Ashton, the owner of Perfect Bodies; a failing health and fitness club based in Leeds.

In the first episode, we learn of Steve’s woeful financial predicament and his equally disastrous marriage to childhood sweetheart, Lesley, who suddenly announces she wants a divorce and half of everything Steve owns, including the gym.

With the club haemorrhaging members faster than they can sign them up, Steve turns to his staff for help. And when a trainee sales manager comes up with an ingenious plan to save the club, Steve decides to roll the dice in a shit-or-bust fashion.

This six-part comedy series follows the club as it navigates through the highly competitive and shark-infested waters of the fitness industry, delivering a highly-entertaining and humorous behind-the-scenes look at one of the most unrepresented yet equally important businesses in today’s society.
