Synopsis/Details
In the year 2093, androids have become an essential part of society, and the Grey Corporation stands at the forefront of the global robotics industry. But the company is on the verge of collapse after its founder, Matt Grey, withdraws to a private island following the death of his wife, abandoning the corporation and all of his responsibilities.
Desperate to prevent the company's downfall, Jake Crawford, a young robotics engineering intern, is sent to convince Grey to return. But Jake does not go alone. He is accompanied by Winnie, an advanced android specifically designed to analyze Matt's behavior and psychological condition and determine whether he is capable of taking control of the corporation again.
What begins as a corporate mission and psychological assessment soon becomes something far more complicated. As Matt and Winnie spend time together, an unexpected connection develops between them—one that neither of them can fully explain. Winnie begins to experience emotions that, according to everything she was programmed to understand, a machine should never possess. Meanwhile, Matt discovers in her a companionship he believed he had lost forever.
Caught between the power of a global corporation, the pain of grief, and the emergence of an impossible love, Jake finds himself trapped in a situation that could change the fate of everyone involved.
