Synopsis/Details

After Derrick Hamilton's high-maintenance girlfriend dumps him, he and his coworkers win a 460 million dollar lottery jackpot. When one of the coworkers is caught trying to leave town with the winning ticket, the others make a pact to spend the weekend together, guarding the ticket and telling no one. Derrick's plan to reunite with his ex-girlfriend must wait until the lottery office opens. It's a very long 36 hours to go.

No one can be trusted.

Eight people who can barely tolerate each other at work spend the weekend getting on each other's nerves. Paranoid and isolated, tempers soon flare and truths are revealed. Push comes to shove when a gun-toting burglar interrupts their weekend and threatens their plan to redeem the winning lottery ticket.

With the ticket and their very lives in jeopardy, Derrick learns that being with the right person is more important than all the money in the world.
