Myrddin has had many incarnations.
When he now awakens, after the last battle, he senses that the coming long foretold is about to occur as he espies the bloodied figure that appears from beneath the animal skins: Arthur.
Arthur has reawakened in the Cave of Shadows. He knows not who is until Myrddin's counsel enlightens him and tells him of his destiny that is preordained.
