Synopsis/Details

During a home tour, realtor ALICE HOFFMAN shows newlyweds DAN and KATHERINE what she calls a closet. Curious to know more, Dan ventures in alone and soon discovers that he's not alone. In the vast darkness, Dan finds Katherine, alone. Her words seem flat on the surface, but hold a much deeper meaning to Dan. He finds his car keys among his infidelity and drives towards the scene of the crime. At the end, he finds his son's body, just as cold as he is. He then finds himself in prison, escorted into his final trial, where he's forced to make the ultimate decision. He escapes the room, now, truly alone with his thoughts, and signs away his soul to the devil.

The Writer: Josh Goldman

I started writing at a young age, mainly short stories and poems, mostly for school assignments. It wasn't until my father got cancer that I started to dive into screenplays. My first screenplay, Sacrilege, was completed in late 2019 and opened the path for me to write more. My favorite genres to write are horror and thriller, which also happen to be my favorite movie genres. I have never been to film school, but I have taken creative writing courses to refine my craft. I am basically self-taught and work hard every day to continue improving my writing skills, hoping to see one of my scripts on the big screen one day. Go to bio
