Synopsis/Details
After losing her job, Amy Barrett-a tough, once-rebellious single mother in her 30s-returns with her 14-year-old son, Corey, to the remote family farm she abandoned 15 years ago. Waiting there is her estranged father, Judd: a gruff, emotionally distant man scarred by grief and years of silence. The nearby town hasn't forgotten Amy's wild past-and it certainly hasn't forgiven it.
Amy insists the move is only temporary. But Corey, awkward and uneasy, senses something off. Especially when the cornfields begin whispering at night.
Amy starts experiencing vivid, disturbing visions of a night long buried in her memory-when, as a teenager, she fled into those same fields and awoke in the barn, convinced she'd been abducted by something not of this Earth. No one believed her. Not even herself.
Now, strange lights haunt the sky. Corey becomes erratic, obsessed with constellations, speaking in unknown tongues, sleepwalking into the fields. Amy fears the impossible: the past is repeating itself. Only this time, they're not here for her.
Suspicion mounts when Shawn, Amy's childhood friend turned local cop, questions her sanity, wondering if old drug habits have resurfaced. But when Judd reveals he's been preparing for this moment since Amy first vanished, the family is forced to face a harrowing truth: Corey may not be entirely human. What was done to Amy all those years ago is back, and it's not finished.
Now, under a vast alien sky and surrounded by whispering cornfields, Amy races to save her son before whatever's inside him takes over completely.
