Synopsis/Details

(10 page script so I'll keep it short).

SHEP, a disgruntled mechanic for the star ship enterprise, is moaning about yet another engine failure at the hands of commander GARTH, when the commander himself overhears him. Shep's eager to tell his fellow halfling maintenance worker, JANPU, all about it when they sneak into the Enterprise for lunch.

The crew members flood in. Commander Garth has been captured by the Klingon's. Shep would love to bolt, but he hits all the wrong buttons and straps himself to the captain's chair. There's no time. They're all in this together.

The good news; Garth is immediately returned when the Klingons realize they've captured the most hated commander in the entire fleet. The bad news; Shep still can't get out of his chair.

Janpu sees an opportunity to give his Klingon wife the trip back home she's always dreamed of. The ship flounders into the time-space continuum, and a life-changing reunion with Shep's dead father (OLD SHEP), awaits.
