When the group goes hunting, One hunter sees a deer in his sights. He pulls the trigger and misses the deer but shoots through a back window of a cottage.

They investigate by going to the window and realize they have shot a woman in the cottage.

As the hunters realize she is mortally wounded, the woman gasps out something in a language they don't understand as she dies. The hunters, not wanting to be found out, bury the woman in the deep snow.

The hunters face numerous perils as their surroundings begin to turn on them. Coupled with a story of the Pere Cheney Witch, the hunters realize that the dying woman’s words were not a plea, but a curse.

The Writer: Paul Grammatico

Forbidden to see graphic films as a child and limited to edited TV movies, I received my horror information second hand through stories from older friends and siblings. I also vacationed in a desolate cottage, raised in houses with creepy basements, and lived in an apartment with a “full torso apparition”. Inspired by my experiences, I am a multi-award-winning screenwriter with an affinity of the weird and unexplained. Go to bio
